The Commission recommends that the designation of the Property be designated as an historic landmark. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA as follows: Section I. The Property commonly known as 853 Forest, South Bend Indiana a more particularly described as follows: Lot 37 & %2 vac alley N&adj E P Chapin's 1St Tax Key No. 18-1016-0618 Be and hereby is designated and established as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance No. 5565-73, as amended.. The zoning rules and regulations applicable to landmarks shall be applicable thereto upon the passage hereof. This designation shall expire upon the Commission's approval a demolition permit for all of the improvements thereon. Section II. It comes to the Common Council with Historic Preservation Commission's favorable recommendation from its November 20, 2006 meeting.
