All buildings would have to be brick or made of two (2) other components. There would also be flexibility for massing of restarants to provide for restaurant clusters. Andy Viderovich,a new land use planner with Area Plan then reviewed the Area Plan report which gave a favorable recommendation(copy attached). No one from the public spoke in favor or in opposition to the proposed ordinance. Council Member Kuspa stated that this is a very good bill, noting that he especially likes the signage requirements. Council Member Pfeifer inquired about how it would affect Lincolnway.\ Mr. Fozo stated that the properties would have to be rezoned to this zoning use for it to be effective on Lincolnway. He stated that there would also be grandfathering, which was confirmed by the Council Attorney.
