SUBJECT: Additional Services for Ignition Park Major Subdivision
On 10-25-11, the Redevelopment Commission approved a proposal from Danch, Harner&
Associates, Inc.for survey and engineering services related to the Ignition Park Major Subdivision.
The proposal was approved in the amount of $23,295.
Prior to the filing of the Ignition Park Plat documents, Danch, Harner&Associates were asked to
make several changes that were beyond their original scope of work, incurring additional expenses.
The current PO for Danch, Harner&Associates has $720 which is insufficient to cover the final
invoice from DHA in the amount of @2,210.
Staff requests Commission approval of the attached change order in the amount of$1,490 from the
AEDA TIF.

RE: Providing additional services for the Ignition Park
Major Subdivision, South Bend, Indiana:
Dear Mr. Kain:
Please accept this letter as our written confirmation of the cost to provide additional
services in the preparation of in the proposed Ignition Park Major Subdivision located in
South Bend, Indiana.
Per our contract agreement with the City of South Bend, any requested revisions
required by the City or by any review agencies would be done at our standard hourly
rates. Our invoice No. 16295 in the amount of$ 2,210.00 covered the costs of revisions
required by the Area plan Commission as part of the Final Subdivision Plat approval. The
Area plan Commission staff had sent a request to the various City Departments asking for
comments on the Final Plat. We made those requested changes and returned the revised
Final Plat to the staff for approval and recording.
