The February 24, 2003 meeting of the Health and Public Safety Committee was called to order by
its Vice-Chairperson, Council Member Charlotte D. Pfeifer at 5:20 p.m. in the Council Informal
Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Varner, Pfeifer, Coleman, Kirsits, Aranowski,
King, Kuspa and White; Citizen Member Isabelle Gonzalez, Terry Bland of the 'outrj1 �i1�
rtburtt and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney.
Council Member Pfeifer noted that Bill No. 16-03 which is a proposed appropriation for Fire
Department equipment was inadvertently set for a Committee hearing. The Bill will receive a first
reading at this evening's Common Council meeting and will be sent to Committee thereafter.
Council Member Pfeifer then adjourned the meeting at 5:21 p.m.
