Mr. Bill Salay of the Life Treatment Centers,Inc. with offices at 1402 South Michigan Street made

Mr. Jim Frick, President of the South Gateway Association, spoke in favor of the proposed
vacation.

King, that Bill No. 75-02 be recommended favorably to the Council. The motion passed.
Under miscellaneous business, Mr. Frick inquired about the optical store rezoning which was
asked to be fast-tracked. Council Member King noted that a petitioner for the rezoning was not
present at the last Area Plan Commission meeting and therefore it will be heard at the October 15th

the Council's agenda for their next meeting.
