South Bend Common Council to Hold Organizational Meeting
The South Bend Common Council will meet next Monday, January 7, 2013, at 5 p.m. in the
Council Chambers on the 4`h Floor of the County-City Building.
This Council meeting is being held pursuant to South Bend Municipal Code § 2-3 which requires
the Council's Organizational Meeting to be held on the first Monday of January.
The purpose of the meeting is to elect the 2013 City Council Officers for the positions of Council
President, Council Vice-President, and Committee of the Whole Chairperson. Additionally, the
Council will select its Council Attorney.
The meeting is open to the public, with all those in attendance having ample time after the close
of the Council meeting to cheer on the Fighting Irish in the BCS National Championship Bowl
later that evening. Go Irish!!
