The attached ordinance changes the rate from twenty- five cents (25(0 per month to fifty cents (50(t ) per month to cover the revenue shortfall in the sewer repair fund. The need has developed because of the huge success of this program. More and more city sewage customers have been using the system. As you are aware, it was the intent of this fund to provide relief from the large bills associated with sewer repairs . The customer pays only the first five hundred dollars ($500 . 00) of the bill in most cases . For more detailed information on the types of repairs and costs associated with individual repairs , please refer to the Sewer Repair Fund Report submitted earlier this year. If you have any questions please contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, 6 ,,(2,14!1), 2'.41rrl'44-41....; John E.
