AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $20 ,000 . 00 FROM
THE SOUTH BEND/CLAY WATER WORKS OPERATING
DEPRECIATION FUND TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN
THE SOUTH BEND/CLAY WATER WORKS BUDGET
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Funds are needed to meet the Design and Construction costs
in the Clay Utilities area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
Section I . That the sum of $20 , 000 . 00 is hereby appro-
priated for the year 1987 from the South Bend/Clay Water Works
Operating Depreciation Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana as
described below:
ACCOUNT PROJECT AMOUNT
04399 Other Contractuals $20 , 000 .00
Section II : This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.

Dear Councilmen:
The attached Ordinance requests the appropriation of funds
into the various Clay Depreciation Funds . The funds will be
used to pay for contractual items completed in the Clay
Utilities service area.
