A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
APPROVING A SCHEDULE OF
REGULAR MEETING TIMES FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2013
AND SETTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING FOR 2014
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ind. Code § 36-7-14, the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission("Commission")is the governing body of the City of South Bend Department of
Redevelopment; and
WHEREAS, in accordance With Ind. Code § 36-7-14-8(c),the Commissioners may
adopt the rules and bylaws it considers necessary for the proper conduct of Commission
proceedings and the carrying out of Commission duties; and
WHEREAS,Section 1 of the By-Laws of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
adopted August 21, 1992, as amended on November 19, 1999 provides that regular meetings
of the Commission shall be promulgated and approved by the Commission at its annual
meeting(the By-Laws and amendments thereto are collectively referred to as the`By-Laws");
and
WHEREAS,Ind. Code § 36-7-14-8(a)provides that the Commissioners shall hold a
meeting for the purpose of organization each year on the first day in January that is not a
Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday; and
WHEREAS, the Commission desires to approve and adopt a schedule of regular
meeting dates and times for calendar year 2013 and an organizational meeting for 2014 as
more specifically described at Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission as follows:
1. The Commission approves and adopts as its regular meeting schedule
for calendar year 2013,the meeting dates and times more specifically described
at Exhibit A attached hereto.
2. The Commission approves and adopts as its organizational meeting for
2014,the date and time set forth at Exhibit A attached hereto.
3. Unless otherwise announced,regular meetings as set forth at Exhibit
shall be held without notice at 9:30 a.m., local time, at the Board of Public

Works Meeting Room, 1308 County-City Building,227 West Jefferson Street,
South Bend, Indiana 46601 and in accordance with the By-Laws of the South
Bend Redevelopment Commission, as amended from time-to-time.
4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its adoption by the South
Bend Redevelopment Commission.
ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on
January 2, 2013 at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend,
Indiana 46601.
