AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL
$122 ,000 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND
TO PROJECT R&S 8705 LOGAN ST. WIDENING FROM
MC KINLEY TO JEFFERSON BLVD.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and
to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain
improvements are necessary for some streets within the City of
South Bend.
Additional funds are now needed to pay the City' s share of
construction costs for these improvements . These funds are
available from the Local Road and Street Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
Section I . The following additional sum of money is hereby
ordered set apart from the local Road and Street Fund for the
project in the amount set forth below:

McKinley to Jefferson Blvd.
Total Project $122 ,000 . 00
Section II : This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor and the State Board of Tax Commissioners .

Project R&S 8705 is for the reconstruction of Logan Street
between McKinley and Jefferson boulevard. The amount of $122 , 000
represents 12 .5% of the total construction cost and is the City' s
share.
