AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE
PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE CENTURY
CENTER FUND AND THE PARKING GARAGE FUND OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JANUARY 1 , 1988 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31 ,
1988 INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND
OBLIGATIONS , AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL
TAKE EFFECT .
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT :
It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to
appropriate monies to defray the expenses of Century Center and the
Parking Garages of the City of South Bend , Indiana for 1988 .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . For the expenses of Century Center and the
Parking Garages for the fiscal year ending December 31 , 1988 , the
following sums of money , as set forth in the attached budget which is
made a part hereof , are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out
of the funds hereinafter named , and for the purposes hereinafter
specified , subject to the laws governing the same . The sums herein
appropriated shall be deemed to include all expenditures authorized to
be made in said year , unless otherwise expressly stipulated or
provided by the law .
SECTION II . For the fiscal year ending December 31 ,
1988 , there is hereby appropriated from Funds of said City to wit :
Century Center Fund and Parking Garage Fund .
SECTION III . This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval
by the Mayor .
