The bidders ranked as follows: Bidder Total Quote Amount 1. K&R Tree Service, LLC $25,098.00 2. KC Tree, Inc. [Non-Responsive] Two responses were received by the Board, one from K&R Tree Service LLC, and one from KC Tree, Inc. KC Tree, Inc. sent an email containing a quoted amount for the project, in the amount of $19,800.00, yet did not provide any of the required documentation including the standard contractor’s quote form. As such, KC Tree Inc. did not provide a responsive quote eligible for opening. The quote provided by K&R Tree Service, LLC, contained the required documentation. Engineering Recommends award of the quote in the amount of $25,098.00 to the lowest responsive bidder, K&R Tree Service, LLC. Engineering recommends rejecting all other quotes. The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds in PR-00009630 from the Motor Vehicle Highway fund (202-06-602-505-431000--PROJ00000280) Please respond with any questions. The Contractor further agrees to notify the assigned Engineer when this improvement is completed. This notification shall be in the form of a Project Completion Affidavit, signed by the Contractor. Upon final acceptance of the improvement by the Engineer, the Contractor’s final estimate will be presented to the Board for final Payment with one (1) copy of the Project Completion Affidavit and one (1) copy of a Waiver of Lien.
