The bidders ranked as follows: Bidder Total Quote Amount 1. K&R Tree Service, LLC $14,398.50 2. Fuerbringer Landscaping + Design LLC $14,935.00 3. Acorn Landscaping LLC $16,298.00 All quotes were found to contain the required documentation, and no errors were found in the quote calculations. Engineering Recommends award of the quote in the amount of $14,398.50 to the lowest responsive bidder, K&R Tree Service, LLC. Engineering recommends rejecting all other quotes. The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds in PR-00009631 from the Motor Vehicle Highway fund (202-06-602-505-431000--PROJ00000280) Please respond with any questions. The Contractor covenants and agrees to make the following improvement, as fully set out in the Request for Quotations, Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, Plans, and Bid Proposals, all of which are set forth as a part of this Contract, for: PROJECT NO. 121-003 DESCRIPTION: 2021 TREE PLANTING COMPLETION DATE: SEE SPECIFICATIONS AMOUNT: NTE $14,398.50 FUNDING: PR-00009631 The unit prices for this improvement were those prices as received and accepted by the Board on the 8th Day of June, 2021. The Contractor further agrees to notify the assigned Engineer when this improvement is completed. This notification shall be in the form of a Project Completion Affidavit, signed by the Contractor. Upon final acceptance of the improvement by the Engineer, the Contractor’s final estimate will be presented to the Board for final Payment with one (1) copy of the Project Completion Affidavit and one (1) copy of a Waiver of Lien.
