AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES WITHIN THE EMS CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
It is necessary to appropriate monies from the EMS Capital
Improvement Fund for use in reroofing Fire Station No. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: The sum of $22,000. 00 is hereby appropriated from Fund
No. 288, the EMS Capital Improvement Fund, to an account within said
Fund to be administered by the South Bend Fire Department as follows:
Account No. 4360 Building & Structural Repair $22,000. 00
Section II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

Dear Council Members:
The attached bill requests an appropriation of $22 ,000. 00 from
the E.M.S. Capital Improvement Fund for new roofing at Fire
Station #2, 110 E. Marion St. The building is twenty years
old and has the original roof. There are some water leaks
during rainy weather and we wish to take care of the problem
before any major damage is done.
