AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $411 , 837 . 00 WITHIN THE GENERAL
FUND AND $174 , 679 . 00 WITHIN THE PARK MAINTENANCE
FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA FOR THE
YEAR 1987 .
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT :
Unforseen conditions have developed since the adoption
of the existing operating budget which necessitate the appropriation
of additional funds within the General Fund and the Park Maintenance
Fund of the City of South Bend from adequate surpluses which are
available for this purpose .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend , Indiana as follows :
SECTION I . That the following sums of money are hereby
appropriated for the year 1987 from various departments within the
General Fund and Park Maintenance Fund as listed below:
