The Board met in special session at 7:15 P. M. Mr. McInerny absent. Hearing given on the following Declaratory resolutions for the following street improvements. Pipe Sewer on Birdsell street, Pipe Sewer on 0`sborne street, Pipe sewer on Marrie.tta Street all under improvement resolutions nos.197, 196, 195 resp. The engir_eer filed his estimated cost of the improvement as follows:-- Marietta street Pipe Sewer.............$2300.00 Osborne street 1000.00 B irdsell street 2100.00 In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board find in each and every case in the said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the city of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of the improvements t.nd that said Eeclaratory resolutions are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. In the matter of the Pipe Sewer in Cushing Addition same was held over until the 9rth day of August at 7:15 P. Resolved by the Board of Pub lic Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Brick paving the a-1.1ey between Michigan street and St. Joseph street, running North and South from Wayne street to the Brick pavement on the second alley south of Wayne St. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the "Alley pavement between Michigan and St. Joseph Street" and shall be constructed according to the plan s and specificat- ions prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Resolved by the Board of Plb lic Works of the 'City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be rade of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: The construction of Cement Cuzb ink and Sidewalks on Notre Dame avenue and -grading said avenue from South Bend avenue to Napoleon street, excepting Corby street intersection already graded. Said impoovement shall be known and designated as THE NOTRE DAME AVENUE GRADE CUl$ & WALK. and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith.
