AN ORDINANCE DECREASING AN APPROPRIATION FOR
PROJECT CS 821, IRELAND-IRONWOOD RETENTION
POND, WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE SEWER
BUILDING AND SINKING FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Due to a decrease in Project costs for the Ireland/Ironwood
Retention Pond, it is necessary to lower the appropriation for
Project CS 821, within the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking
Fund.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: The following project within the Cumulative Sewer
Building and Sinking Fund is decreased in the amount set forth below:
PROJECT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT
821 Ironwood/Ireland Retention Pond $ (24,000.00)
Total Reduction (24,000.00)
Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.

Ireland-Ironwood Retention Pond
Dear Councilmen:
Further discussions on the design of the Ireland-
Ironwood Retention Pond enlargement have allowed the projected
project costs to decrease. We are requesting the appropria-
tion be decreased by this amount.
The funds will remain in the Cumulative Sewer Building
and Sinking Fund.
Your favorable consideration is requested.
