AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $63 ,635 .80
FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
It is necessary to appropriate funds from the Emergency Medical
Service Capital Improvement Fund in order to make the final lease
purchase payment which is due September 15, 1988 for the purchase
of the 1984 Pirsch 110 ' Sky Top Aerial.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart from the Emergency Medical Services Capital
Improvement Fund as set forth below:

288-000-16-04399. 00 OTHER CONTRACTUALS $63 ,635. 80
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor.

Honorable Council Members :
The attached bill requesting an appropriation in the amount
of $63 ,635. 80 from the Emergency Medical Services Capital
Improvement Fund (EMSCIF) , represents funding for the fourth
and final payment for a 1984 Pirsch 110 ' Sky Top Aerial .
The payment is due September 15, 1988 .
Sufficient funds are available since I expect a cash balance of
approximately $74,000. 00 in the E.M.S.C. I .F. at the time of
the payment.
