• 21 CP Project Portfolio
o New project portfolio tool for high level management of all projects
o Post-incident reporting progress is well underway with developing ideas and identifying
common data points across processes to consolidate forms
o The rapid police survey is designed for a short SMS format with a focus on accessibility, while
the training interests survey is designed around capturing the most information possible on
perceptions of current performance in key training interests
• Quarterly Statistics
o The three focus areas for 2021 quarterly stats: Crime trends, recruitment and training, and
Group Violence Intervention
o Metrics are to encourage conversations around a city-wide approach to crime and monitor
key focus areas for the department in a quantitative way
• Community Survey Results
o The 2020 community survey was distributed during July and August, where the political
climate and COVID-19 pandemic were contributing factors to results
o Satisfaction with police increased by 4 points since 2018, where as regional and national
benchmarks saw decreases, indicating forward progress in a unique climate
o The three most important topics to residents were: preventing crime, and police visibility and
safety in neighborhoods
