The May 12, 2008 meeting of the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee of the South
Bend Common Council was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member David Varner at
4:22 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting Room.
Members in attendance included Chairperson Varner; Councilmember LaFountain, Vice-
Chairperson; Councilmember Dieter, Member
Persons in attendance included: Councilmember Rouse; Councilmember Puzzello;
Councilmember Oliver Davis; Councilmember White; Councilmember Kirsits; Jamie Loo;
Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney; John Voorde, City Clerk
BILL NO.20-08 -ALLEY VACATION -GOLDEN & WOODWARD AVENUES
Chairperson Varner informed the committee the petitioner had requested a continuance due to a
flaw discovered in the notification process. On a motion by Councilmember LaFountain,
seconded by Chairperson Dieter, and supported by all, Bill 20-08 was continued to the meeting of
5-27-08.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council member Varner
adjourned the meeting at 4:24 p.m.
