RE: Update to March 17, 2021 Board of Safety Meeting Minutes
Following the March 17, 2021 Board of Safety meeting, the Board received clarification regarding
the start date for the unpaid administrative leave of Firefighter Brian Bartlett. Upon receipt of the
clarification, the Board sent a letter to Firefighter Bartlett amending the thirty-day paid
administrative leave start date to March 9, 2021, instead of February 22, 2021. The Board’s decision
to grant Firefighter Bartlett thirty days of paid leave, followed by unpaid administrative leave during
the pendency of his criminal case, stands. The new effective date of the unpaid administrative leave
is April 7, 2021.
