Contract Reimbursement Date: December 10, 2012 Attached to this memorandum is a request by Union Station Technology Center to draw down on funding from the MOU#1 funding allocation to cover costs to date associated with planning and design work associated with site planning and utility planning for the USTC Site. The table below is an expense table for all funds expended to date related to MOU#1 approved by the Redevelopment Commission in March 2012. Starting Budget 2,200,000.00 AS+GG Energy Study -84,500.00 Equipment Purchase#1 - 1,228,530.00 Equipment Purchase#2 -517,882.00 AEP Utility Connection - 165,000.00 Funds Available 204,088.00 The proposed reimbursement agreement with JPR,formerly Wightman Petrie,will be in the amount of$87,994.00 and was used to accomplish the following tasks: Proposal Proposal Amount ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey for: Ivy Tower Corporation, South Bend, Indiana 4,945.00 Various Proposals for Conceptual and Planning Design Services related to Union 30,000.00 Station Technology Center and Renaissance District Proposal For Services To Obtain Railroad Crossing Permit For Renaissance District 17,029.00 Underground Utility Borings Proposal For Services To Provide Utility Survey And GIS Data For Renaissance 36,020.00 District Development Total Amount 87,994.00 Staff requests approval of this professional service contract with JPR, Incorporated to allow for work related to the Union Station and Renaissance District to be performed to advance the project.
