Purpose of Request:
Requesting budget of $147,786 to correct an erroneous transfer to RDC General from EDIT in
2020. The City reimburses RDC for property acquisitions RDC approves in an annual budget
amount not to exceed $150,000. In 2020 one property was acquired with a total purchase price
including closing costs of $2,214. Central Finance erroneously transferred the full $150,000
annual budget to RDC General rather than just the property acquisition costs. In order to correct
this we are requesting budget appropriation for the amount over the acquisition cost in order to
transfer the funds back to the City’s EDIT fund.
