MAY 21, 2008
The Board of Public Safety met in a special meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, with
President Donald Alford and Board Members Juanita Dempsey, Patrick D. Cottrell, and Bruce
Borfflurant present. Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar was also present.

The meeting was held in I the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, -) Floor, County-City
Building, South Bend, Indiana.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
ACCEPT RE-QUEST FOR RE SIGNATION — ROBERT CULP
President Alford stated that the Board is in receipt of a letter from Chief Boykins requesting the
Board accept a letter of resignation from Sergeant Robert Culp, effective May 21, 2008. Upon a
motion by Ms. Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Cottrell and carried, the resignation was accepted as
requested.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, President Alford declared the meeting
adjourned at 4:01 p.m.
