RE: Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement
Dear Mr. Hickle:
At its February 9, 2021 meeting, the Board of Public Works approved the above
referenced amendment which clarifies the design services for the demolition of two (2)
additional buildings at 905, 907, and 909 S. Michigan St. in the amount of $7,100 with a new
total amount of $26,500.
Enclosed please find a copy of the amendment for your records.

Contract Amendment No. 1
Dear Mr. Hurst:
Thank you for the opportunity to submit this contract amendment for additional
engineering services for demolition of buildings at 905 and 907 S Michigan Street. We
look forward to working with you.
Project Understanding
We understand that this project is to develop demolition plans and specifications for the
removal of the buildings at 905, 907, and 909 S Michigan Street. The original agreement
only included demolition for 909 S Michigan Street.
Project Scope
Demolition of 905 and 907 S Michigan Street are added to the scope of the project. The
previous scope items and assumptions remain unchanged from the original agreement.
Fees
The existing contract amount will be increased by $7,100 and the amended contract
amount will be $26,500.
Refer to the attached manhour justification for additional information on the added
scope of work.
Schedule
This contract amendment will not affect the schedule proposed in the original
agreement.
