ORDINANCE NO. igyy-k7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990-68, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1406/1412 SOUTH BEND AVENUE STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The Common Council acknowledges that Article 7 of Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend addresses Rezoning Procedures. Section 21-118 specifically provides a procedure for a member of the Council to initiate a rezoning amendment. The following ordinance is submitted pursuant that Section to rezone the real estate located at 1406/1412 South Bend Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: Section I . Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 in the recorded plat of "Parker and Aliens Addition" and the Northerly half of the alley lying South of and adjacent to said Lot 4; Also: Lot "S" in the recorded plat of "Replat of Parker and Aliens Additional" all being recorded in the records of St. Joseph County, Indiana. be and the same is hereby established as "C" Commercial, "E" Height and Area. Section II.
