SUBJECT: Extension of Long Term Occupancy
Commerce Center – FA Wilhelm
DATE: January 20, 2021
FA Wilhelm has submitted a request to extend their Long Term Occupancy of LaSalle Avenue
and Sycamore Street for the purposes of construction of the Commerce Center mixed-use
development. This extension would run through May 31st, 2021.
They have been invoiced for the fee required, and continue to maintain their traffic control
devices in the interest of safety for the traveling public.
It is requested that the extension be granted, subject to FA Wilhelm being required to coordinate
with City personnel, as necessary, to allow safe access for other utilities to perform work within
the closures if the need arises.
