AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $350,000.00 FROM
THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT
R & S 8803, VARIOUS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, WITHIN
THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to
provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles, certain
improvements are needed within the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Funds are now needed for the design and construction of signals, road
improvements, and storm sewers. These funds are available from the
Local Road and Street Fund.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the
project in the amount set forth below:

R&S 8803 Various Road Improvements $ 350,000.00
Section II : This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.

The attached ordinance appropriates $350,000.00 from the Local
Roads and Street Account to Project RS 8803. This project will
entail the construction and design of the projects discussed at
a recent council session.
These projects are:
1. Eisenhower Drive Widening
2. Miami Street Widening
3. Signal Designs
4. Widener Lane Cul-De-Sac
5. Cleveland - Brick Road Intersection Work

you may have.
