AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $100,000
FROM A.E. PISTONS LOAN REPAYMENTS
TO BE USED AS A TRAINING GRANT
TO A.E. PISTONS.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to provide funds for a training grant agreement
entered into on February 11, 1988, this appropriation is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. The sum of $100, 000 is hereby appropriated from the
Economic Development State Grants fund (fund 210) as set forth
below:

A.E. Pistons $100, 000. 00
SECTION II. No costs will be incurred or funds expended for
any activities in this ordinance unless in accordance with the
Investment Incentive Fund Training Grant Agreement dated February
11, 1988, between A.E. Pistons, Inc. and the City of South Bend,
Indiana.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor.

appropriate $100,000 in loan repayments from A.E. Pistons to be
used as a training grant. This request allows us to fulfill the
requirements of the training grant agreement entered into on
February 11, 1988 between A.E. Pistons, Inc. and the City of South
Bend.
