AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $18,406.13
FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
It is necessary to appropriate funds from the Emergency Medical
Service Capital Improvement Fund to make the first of five lease
payments to Security Pacific Capital Leasing Corporation for the
purchase of a rescue unit. The first payment is due January 1, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I . The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and
ordered set apart from the Emergency Medical Services Capital
Improvement Fund as set forth below:

Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the
Mayor.

Honorable Council Members :
The attached bill requesting an appropriation in the amount
of $18 , 406 . 13 from the Emergency Medical Services Capital
Improvemtn Fund (EMSCIF) , represents funding for the first
semi-annual lease payment, with five (5) more to follow.
The payment is due January 1 ,1989 .
Sufficient funds are available in the E.M.S. Capital
Improvement Fund to make this payment.
