PUBLIC AGENDA SESSION APRIL 16, 2008
The Board of Public Safety met in the Public Agenda Session at 805 a.m. on Wednesday, April
16, 2008 with President Donald Alford and Board Members Juanita Dempsey, Patrick D.
Cottrell, Bruce J. BonDurant, and Jack Reed present. Also present were Board Attorney Thomas
Bodnar, Police Chief Darryl Boykins, and Fire Chief Howard Buchanon.
The meeting was held in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, 13th Floor, County City
Building, South Bend, Indiana.
ADDITION TO THE AGENDA
Mr, Bodnar informed the Board of an addition to the agenda of a Fire Department grant
application for the Fire Training Tower.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, President Alford declared the meeting
adjourned at 8:25 a. m.

REGULAR MEETING APRIL 16, 2008
The Board of Public Safety met in the regular meeting at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16,
2008, with President Donald Alford and Board Members Juanita Dempsey, Bruce J. BonDurant,
Patrick D. Cottrell, and Jack Reed present. Also present were Police Chief Darryl Boykins, Fir;
Chief Howard Buchanon and Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar.
The meeting was held in the Common Council Chambers, 4th Floor, County-City Building,
South Bend, Indiana.
ACCEPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
President Alford stated if there were no objections, the minutes of the March 26, 2008, Board of
Safety meeting would be accepted.
