THANKSGIVING DAY TRASH COLLECTION PICKUP RESCHEDULED
SOUTH BEND Due to the Thanksgiving Day Holiday, the City of South Bend has
announced that there will be no trash pickup on Thursday,November 22. Trash will be
picked on Friday,November 23 for residents whose normal trash collection day is
Thursday.
For more information,please contact the Bureau of Solid Waste at 574-277-8823. Their
offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
Please note that curbside pickup for bagged leaves will continue into the winter.
Beginning on December 3 and until next spring, residents must call in for pick-up of
leaves after the Fall Leaf Pick-up program ends. Residents are asked to please call the
Bureau of Solid Waste at 574-277-8823 to schedule a bagged leaf pick-up.
