AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $13 ,644 . 89
FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
It is necessary to appropriate funds from the Emergency Medical
Service Capital Improvement Fund to make the first of six semi-annual
lease payments to Ford Motor Credit for the purchase of a medic
unit. The first payment is due February 24, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE-, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I . The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and
ordered set apart from the Emergency Medical Service Capital
Improvement Fund as set forth below:

Section II . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the

Honorable Council Members:
The attached bill requesting an appropriation in the amount of
$13 , 644. 89 from the Emergency Medical Services Capital
Improvement Fund (EMSCIF) , represents funding for the first
of six semi-annual lease payments to Ford Motor Credit for the
medic unit purchased in August of 1988 .
Payment is due February 24, 1989, and sufficient funds are
available in the E.M.S. Capital Improvement Fund.
