AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $530 ,000 . 00 FROM
THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT
R&S 8904 , PAVING MATERIALS, WITHIN THE LOCAL
ROAD AND STREET FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to provide for safe and efficient movement of
vehicles , paving improvements are needed on certain streets within
the City of South Bend. Funds are needed for the cost of materials
for these improvements . These funds are available from the Local
Road and Street Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I . The following sum of money is hereby appro-
priated and ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund
for the project in the amount set forth below:

R&S 8904 Paving Materials $530 ,000 . 00
Section II : This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.
