AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $150,000
AMONG VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of Urban
Development Action Grant Reimbursement Funds and that the immediate
needs of specific activities are met, appropriations to accounts
are necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $150,000 is hereby appropriated to
accounts as set forth below.

UR89-002 SBCDA Public Improvements 115,119
TOTAL $150,000
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor.

Dear Council Member:
The attached bill for your consideration and approval will
appropriate $150, 000 of Urban Development Action Grant
Reimbursement Funds to the following projects:
1. Appropriate $34,881 for use as the local match for State Grant
Funds to be used for infrastructure improvements. This amount will
allow us to assist American Moulding and Communication Test Design.
2 . Appropriate $115, 119 for SBCDA Public Improvements. These
funds will allow for the extension of Seitz Park which will include
off-street parking, lighting and landscaping improvements.
