AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE
PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE CENTURY
CENTER FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1991 AND
ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1991 INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING
CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE
SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to
appropriate monies to defray the expenses of Century Center of the
City of South Bend, Indiana for 1991.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. For the expenses of Century Center for the
fiscal year ending December 31,1988, the following sums of money, as
set forth in the attached budget which is made a part hereof, are
hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the funds hereinafter
named, and for the purposes hereinafter specified, subject to the laws
governing the same. The sums herein appropriated shall be deemed to
include all expenditures authorized to be made in said year, unless.
otherwise expressly stipulated or provided by the law.
SECTION II. For the fiscal year. ending December 31,
1991, there is hereby appropriated from Funds of said City to wit:
Century Center Fund.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval
by the Mayor.

Dear Tom:
Please find attached a copy of the Appropriation Ordinance for
the Century Center budget. We are again reviewing the Century Center
budget with the other tax supported funds as per the direction of the
State Tax Board. In the past, we have also reviewed the parking
garage fund at this time but have chosen to defer that and review it
with the other enterprise funds later this year.
I will be happy to answer any questions you or any members of the
Council may have.
