AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE ANNUAL SALARY FOR THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
FOR THE CALENDAR YEARS 1990, 1991 AND 1992 .
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
The Council is required by Indiana law to set the annual
compensation of all elected City officers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL,
as follows:
SECTION I : The City Council of the City of South Bend shall be
paid from the General Fund the following annual salary for the
following calendar years:
1990: $13 , 104
1991: $13 ,626
1992: $14 ,035
SECTION II : The City Clerk shall publish this ordinance twice in
two ( 2) English language newspapers of general circulation published
in this City, the first of which publications shall be at least
thirty ( 30) days prior to the date of the final passage by the Common
Council.
SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the
Mayor.
