AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,080.00 FROM THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT
OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF
THE SOUTH BEND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1989 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 1990.

In order to process employment discrimination complaints
arising within the South Bend Human Rights Commission jurisdiction
and augment our equal employment enforcement efforts by engaging in
outreach, education, training and technical assistance, it is
necessary to appropriate funds received from the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana as follows:
Section I.
The sum of $30,080.00 is hereby appropriated for the year
starting October 1, 1989 from EEOC, to be administered by the Human
Rights Commission and distributed as set forth below:
