South Bend, Indiana 46601 Dear President Zakrzewski: The attached Ordinance is a request to appropriate $200,000.00 from the Cumulative Capital Development Fund for payment of the 20 police vehicles ordered earlier this year. Earlier this year the Council transferred $125,000.00 from the lease purchase line item to the capital spending line item. This $200,000.00 appropriation will also pay for the related items to bring these vehicles into service. Specifically, there are light bars and siren heads that need to be added at our expense. I will be happy to answer any questions you or any Council member may have regarding this Ordinance. Thank you very much for your consideration.
