Dear President Zakrzewski:
The attached Ordinance is a request to appropriate $200,000.00
from the Cumulative Capital Development Fund for payment of the 20
police vehicles ordered earlier this year. Earlier this year the
Council transferred $125,000.00 from the lease purchase line item to
the capital spending line item. This $200,000.00 appropriation will
also pay for the related items to bring these vehicles into service.
Specifically, there are light bars and siren heads that need to be
added at our expense.
I will be happy to answer any questions you or any Council member
may have regarding this Ordinance. Thank you very much for your
consideration.
Sincerely,
Katherine Humphreys
Director of Administration
and Finance
