GAMMON Approved and signed by me March 29 19 90 Mayor Bill No. Ordinance No. F080-90 8 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 19, SECTION 2-213 COMMONLY KNOWN AS "SCHEDULE OF ORDINANCE AND CODE VIOLATIONS" STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The attached Bill would amend the "Schedule of Ordinance and Code Violation" section of the City Code, by the inclusion of large parties or gatherings. By this amendment the Ordinance Violations Bureau would be able to receive payment from violators. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. Committee of the Whole The attached Bill would amend Section 2-213 of the South Bend Municipal Code to include reference to the new code section, type of Stephen Luecke violation and penalty provisions offenses First District related to "large parties or gatherings requiring a second response" from the Police Donald Niezgodski Department. Second District William Soderberg This is a companion Bill to the one proposing to Third District establish specific procedures addressing such large parties and gatherings as new Section 13- Ann Puzzello 57 . 1. Fourth District The attached Bill would allow violators to pay Linas Slavinskas $50. 00 fines through the Ordinance Violations Fifth District Bureau in the City Clerk's Office. Thomas Zakrzewski I will be recommending that this Bill be sent to Sixth District trio the appropriate Council committee for review and Sean Coleman recommendation.
