ANNUAL ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
January 16, 2012 1200 County -City Building

Presiding: Jose Alvarez South Bend, IN 46601
The January 16, 2012 Annual Organizational Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was
called to order at 2:00p.m. by Jose Alvarez. There was a quorum present.
1. ROLL CALL
Members Present: Mr. Jose Alvarez, President
Ms. Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer, Vice - President
Mr. Raphael Thomas, Secretary
Redevelopment Staff: Mr. Donald Inks, Director of Economic Development
Mrs. Cheryl Phipps, Recording Secretary
Mr. David Relos, Economic Development Specialist
Mr. Larry Metiever, Legal Counsel
2. SWEARING IN OF AUTHORITY MEMBERS
The members have not yet been reappointed.
3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Mr. Alvarez nominated Mr. Thomas as President, the motion was seconded by Ms.
Pfotenhauer, and the Authority approved the nomination. Ms. Pfotenhauer nominated Mr.
Alvarez for Secretary and herself for Vice - President; these motions were seconded by Mr.
Alvarez. The Authority unanimously approved the nominations.
4. SET REGULAR MEETING TIMES FOR 2012
The first and third Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. were set for the regular meeting times.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Upon a motion Ms. Pfotenhauer, seconded by Mr. Thomas, the Annual Organizational
Meeting was adjourned at 2:05 p.m.
