Re: An Ordinance Amending Chapter 2, Article 19, Section 2-213
of the South Bend Municipal Code
Dear Tom:
I am attaching for filing an Ordinance Amending Chapter 2,
Article 19, Section 2-213 of the South Bend Municipal Code.
This Ordinance is being placed before the Council for
consideration as one face of a multifaceted plan being undertaken by
the City to make more efficient and self-supporting the downtown
parking facilities operated by the City and to ensure the increased
effectiveness of parking restrictions in effect within the City.
The ordinance in question amends the schedule of violations
payable through the Ordinance Violations Bureau to reflect the
proposed increased fines for violating parking restrictions, as well
as to include payment of fines for curfew violations.
Your favorable consideration is respectfully requested.
Sincerely,
/
Katherine Humphreys, /
City Controller
