F/‘ 1 7- 9/ AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $92,000 AMONG VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE DEPART OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of Urban Development Action Grant Reimbursement Funds and that the immediate needs of specific activities are met, appropriation of funds is necessary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $92,000 of is hereby appropriated to accounts as set forth below. Kolata Executive Director Deputy Executive Director January 7, 1991 South Bend Common Council Fourth Floor Council Chambers 400 County-City Building South Bend, IN 46601 Dear Council Member: The attached bill for your consideration and approval will appropriate the $92,000 in Urban Development Action Grant Reimbursement Funds for the following projects: 1) $30, 000 for engineering services for various economic development projects in the City. 2) $41, 000 for planning activities in compliance with the Mayor's Housing Forum recommendations. 3) $6, 000 to assist in the purchase of a computer mapping system for planning purposes. 4) $15,000 for temporary staff support for the Division of Human Rights to help clear out a portion of their backlog.
