Attached with this memo is a proposal from Turner Construction for project management services to address
the installation of the metal panels and related work on the Data Realty fagade at Ignition Park.
As Commissioners may recall, the initial bids for the metal panel work came in higher than anticipated. This
resulted in changes to the scope of work and issue of a second round of bids by the Board of Public Works.
The contact was awarded to Shafner Haney at the end of July. Given the loss of time during the public bidding
process, the installation dates have moved back significantly. The goal was completion by October 31" as it
coincides with the completion of the rest of the construction work at Data Realty. Since this completion date
cannot be met by Shafner Haney, project management services are needed to ensure that the metal panels are
installed per all specified specs. The anticipated completion date of the Facade work is now December 15.
Per the attached proposal, Turner Construction will monitor the installation of the metal panels from October
31, 2012 to November 14, 2012.
Staff asks for Commission approval of the contract in the amount of $6,500 from the AEDA TIF.

Re: Data Realty Northern Indiana Data Center Project — Additional Metal Panel Management Services
Mr. Kain,
Turner Construction Co. respectfully proposes to provide project management services for the
installation of the metal panel wall system for the Data Realty Northern Indiana Data Center Project
from October 31, 2012 thru December 14th, 2012.
The value for the above mentioned project management service is $6,500.00. The scope of the service
includes a weekly day trip to the site for review of the installation progress and continuation of the
ongoing weekly coordination meetings for the duration indicated above by the current Assistant Project
Engineer. Additionally one day trip to the site is included for the current Project Manager. All travel
expenses are included within the value noted above.
