AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE. CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
TRANSFERRING MONIES. FROM VARIOUS
ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE.,:
PARKING GARAGE FUND 601 OF SOUTH. BEND,
INDIANA FOR THE. YEAR 1991
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Unforseen conditions have developed since the adoption of
existing budgets which necessitate the transfer of funds to certain.
accounts of the Parking Garage Fund (601) from adequate surpluses
which are available and not presently needed within other accounts
within the same department..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common. Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana as follows:
SECTION I:. That the following accounts be adjusted as described_
below:
GENERAL. FUND.
Controller
Increase the following accounts:
601-0405-645-3106 Other professional services $30,000.00
TOTAL. $30,000.00
Decrease the following accounts:
601-0405-645-1002 Hourly salaries $27,000.00
601-0405-645-1101 FICA 1,000.00
601-0405-645-1102_ PERF 2,000.00
TOTAL $30,000.00
SECTION II.. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.

Re: An Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, Transferring Monies from Various Accounts
within the the Parking Garage Fund
Dear Mr. Niezgodski,
I am attaching for filing, an ordinance transferring funds
among various accounts of the Parking Garage Fund. The purpose of
the ordinance is to make surplus monies within the Fund available to
fund a contract for the private enforcement of the City' s parking
ordinances.
This ordinance complements the ordinance amending Chapter 20
of the South Bend Municipal Code which I have also filed today. As
with that ordinance, I am asking that the Council suspend its rules
and give this ordinance first reading, public hearing and final
reading at its March 25th meeting.
