AN OI)INANCE APPROPRIATING REVENUE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,650.00 FROM THE FAIR HOUSING AWARDS DINNER IN SEPTEMBER 1991.
Statement of Purpose and Intent
It is necessary to appropriate the $1,650.00 generated from
the Fair Housing Awards Dinner held by the South Bend Human
Rights Commission in September 1991 to further process housing
discrimination complaints arising within the South Bend Human
Rights Commission jurisdiction and augment our fair housing
enforcement efforts by engaging in outreach, education, training
and technical assistance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana as follows:
Section I.
The sum of $1,650.00 is hereby appropriated and set apart to
be administered by the Human Rights Commission for Fair Housing
activities.
Section II.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council and approved by the
Mayor.
