Purpose of Request:
In order to support the recent development at Eddy St. Commons and the surrounding area, a traffic
study and conceptual design was recently performed to determine upcoming traffic needs and support
circulation in and around the Howard St./Eddy Intersection.
This request is for the full design and preparation of bid documents for improvements in these areas to
support growth. The intersections include:
Howard St./Eddy St., Howard St./SR23, Corby Blvd./South Bend Ave., and Notre Dame Ave/South Bend
Ave. This request would also support a preliminary design for a realignment and connections along
South Bend Ave at Francis St. Campeau St.
