AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $42,706.00 FROM THE EQUAL
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING
THE EXPENSES OF THE SOUTH BEND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
1991 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1992 .
Statement of Purpose and Intent
In order to process employment discrimination complaints
arising within the South Bend Human Rights Commission
jurisdiction and augment out equal employment enforcement
efforts by engaging in Outreach, education, training and
technical assistance, it is necessary to appropriate funds
received from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
city of South Bend, Indiana as follows:
Section I.
The sum of $42,706.00 is hereby appropriated for the year
starting October 1, 1991 from the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission, to be administered by the Human Rights Commission
and distributed as set forth below:

Transportation/Communication 2, 138.00

TOTAL $42,706.00
Section II.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council and approved by the
Mayor.
