Re : Water Leak Insurance
Dear Councilmen:
Municipal Consultants has prepared a report outlining a
need to raise the water leak insurance rate from sixty-four
cents ($0. 64) to ninety-eight cents ($0. 98) per month. The
increase is needed as a result of a steady increase in the
number of repairs . This increase in rate is the first
adjustment in eleven years.
In addition to the rate increase we are working on ways
to lower costs to the program.
Your favorable consideration is requested.
Sincerely,
John F. Stancati, Director
