My name is Herbert L. Harris Jr., the homeowner located at 1517 High Street adjacent to
the abuttingparcel of land with rope in good standin who wish to acquire the rope
at 733 E. Idiana Avenue, Soulh Bend Indiana 46613$arcel No. 018-7029-114� . My y
intention of the use for property is to build a driveway for the purpose of parking andsafety of
my vehicles and my quest's vehicles from off the streets of Indiana Avenue and High Street. I
like to inform you that you are receiving this letter of notice as a petition/bid for the property.
Therefore I am submitting an offer of bid for the amount of $750.00 which is the minimum
calculated offering price for the property. I'm also aware that I will assume the responsibility
for the cost of advertising and recording upon a successful negotiation and sale for the tract of
land that I'm biddin upon.

The City has received a petition to purchase the above described parcel of property, which is held
by the Board on behalf of the City pursuant to Indiana Code 36-9-6-3(a). The Board is offering the
property for sale to the highest bidder in excess of the minimum offering price or otherwise in
accordance with Indiana Code 36-1-11-5.
